Ah, so it's finally available in NA.

Too bad you can't overclock it as high...

Man they really just need to take the atom out and throw in a CULV processor. All would be right in the world, and I'd be willing to pay the extra 150$ or whatever.

Edit: and bump up the resolution, but keep the same screen size... though that might make it a little wayyy more expensive since those screens would cost alot...

yeah id have to agree. i think a core 2 solo paired with a 9400m would be the ultimate netbook kit, if they cram it into a 12inch or less frame. im fine with 1024x600 so long as we can still scale 1024x768.

but i think ION is the closest we'll get to that for a while...

EDIT: just noticed alienware are offering a new 15 inch gaming lappy, thats comes with a 9800m!. if they can get that into a 15incher then surely they could make a netbook with some power?

yeah but wouldn't they have done that already if they could?  I think they're not doing it because the netbook would have overheating issues and the battery life would be terrible, and netbooks are supposed to be efficient little machines.  I know I wouldn't buy one if the price was still like 800-900 dollars when I could pay a few hundred more and have a much better gaming laptop with similar awful battery life.
