Re: Happy Holidays and Looking Toward a Fantastic 2010.

We Belgians are lucky for sure! We've got 50cm of snow lying here, something that hasn't happened in 20 years (or so my parents say, I'm just 20 years old right now  big_smile )! According to latest reports, the night will add another 10cm to it, ain't that great :-)

I went for a walk near the river with my dog, and I couldn't see it because it was buried completely by snow. You just saw a tunnel creeping forward through the snow alongside me  lol

But seriously now: To all a very good ending of 2009 and may 2010 be even better!

Don't make me "touch" you :-D

Re: Happy Holidays and Looking Toward a Fantastic 2010.

yep= darkjeric take care of that dog - or i may have to touch you - after all they, as well as all amimals, are humans greatest gift. and snow is always good, back in 2004 on texas gulf coast they were making snowmen, that nevers happens, "ALMOST".   tongue

when i grew up in indiana, we rarely got snow at xmas, when i lived in aspen, colorado it was not unusual to get 95 inches of snow in one week (95/2.5=38cm) that be alot of snow if my math is correct, belgium also, enjoy it and get pix.   tongue

my new brittany is a snow plower just like the previous one,   big_smile

Re: Happy Holidays and Looking Toward a Fantastic 2010.

well it's xmas eve 9pm almost cst (+6gmt). we are having sort of a blizzard for texas horizontal snow and all even though only about 1-2 inch of snow and somewhat wet.  that is good for texas.  some idiot from nbc said it had not snowed at xmas in texas for eighty years.  silly boy- i have lived here since 1991 and have seen appx 9 snow days.  i feel very blessed we get the snow, however, i came from snow country, and you do not want to get on the roads with these novices, they drive like it is perfect conditions, and then even then they are crazy as heck   roll  stay home and enjoy the day instead it is not worth it.

if i were lucky enough to win lottery, i would visit russia area, belgium (dad's fav), istanbul, my fav new zeland,  and so many other mediterranean places, and i would spend one year in africa, the greatest continent on our planet, unfortunately it is probably not in the cards, so i will finish my days on this planet trout fishing in colorado, not a bad place to end up living. (have lived there 3 times)   big_smile

have a great holiday and 2010  smile
