I just bought a used N10J-A2 and I'm not very excited about Vista. It came with a bunch of paperwork, one had very simple instructions on how to "downgrade" to XP. I've heard nightmares about going from Vista to XP but that was over a year ago. I guess my question is, if I do this, will I have to deal with wierd compatibility issues and annoying startup error messages?
Not that I know of... You just have to wipe the drive clean and put XP on there, which is the only way to downgrade. Besides, most people were happy with that, it was the reverse 'upgrade to Vista' that brought a lot of compatibility issues. And FYI: Windows 7 runs flawlessly on these N10's
