Topic: Power 4 Gear Hybrid settings
When I change to battery savings mode, Power 4 Gear changes the task bar to auto hide mode. This can be a minor annoyance, albeit an annoyance. Is there a way to disable this?

Did you check the P4G settings?

There is a presentation mode in P4G (Quiet office mode?), a checkbox in the lower right. It can also make your desktop icons disapear, and make solid-color background when activated. Just uncheck this in P4G!

I think that ur on powersave mode, if u are look under the misc. power settings and turn off powersaving desktop. hope this helps

That seems to do the trick, but now the other features such as lower color settings and such are gone from battery saving.

there is always a cost, to get the best power settings, we got no choce but to live with it, unless u r a better computer designer, i wish i were, but asus is better than i could ever be at designing a computer. sometimes they will listen, though, and figure out a better way

in p4g hybrid near the top of screen there are 2 check boxes battery and power i think, check one set ur settings, check the other set ur settings, save, done may have to reboot for them to take effect - do not remember
