I'd probably wait for Intel's entry into the laptop SSD fray. They kicked everyone's ass with their desktop stuff by a ridiculous margin. Expensive sure, but they fixed all the problems that early model SSDs had and moved the tech forward a generation. Manufacturers will have to either compete by matching Intel in performance or undercutting them via a low pricing strategy.
