So i read through this Thread and I decided to go with the Intel 5350 after some research I installed it and i get better throughput and better Range with it. So far i am very happy and recommend the card. big_smile

Odd how it only seems to work for some people.  What OS do you use? (I'm currently using Win 7 RC, though I had the same problem with Vista) Could you post the steps you did to get the card to work ok? (and which drivers\software?) I can detect the card just fine, but the wifi always shuts itself off a moment after I switch it on, not even long enough to connect or pass tests.

I have the same opinion. My sister got her  N-10J last week, and she tried to change wifi card with Intel 5300 ( 5350 isn´t sell in our country) - and she has the same problem as you described. So we tried to change card with my N-10j ( where my intel 5300 works excelent) and her new card does work in my NB without problem, and my intel card of course doesn´t work with her NB. I´ll be happy, if somebody can explain it.
PS: we both have Win XP version. I have tried also Vista and Win7 without problems on my N-10J

Right now i am Dual Booting Windows xp pro SP3 and Win 7 RC. All i did was Install the base driver first and then the Intel Wireless Management Counsel, So Far its working great for both. I dont know there wasn't much to do to install it. I just got the latest drivers from the Intel site.  For Win 7 i just used the Vista Ultimate drivers.

Here is where i got the drivers from.

Hope this helps
